S.F. Residents Urged to Apply
For Access Appeals Commission

The Building Inspection Commission is looking for members to serve on the Access Appeals Commission, an appeals body composed of five members which hears written appeals brought by any person regarding actions taken by the Department of Building Inspection in the enforcement and adaptability provisions of the Disabled Access Regulations.

Members of the Access Appeals Commission are appointed for four year terms. There are currently three expired terms in the Access Appeals Commission in the following seats:

*Person with experience in disability construction
*Public member
*Person with a physical disability.

The Access Appeals Commission meets twice a month and staff support is provided by the Department of Building Inspection.

We encourage those who have the time, interest, and expertise to help the City and County of San Francisco.
